About Me

Get to know me

Who am I?

With six years of diverse experience in the mental health services as a social worker including work in inpatient settings, substance use treatment, middle school environments, and most recently outpatient therapy, I am dedicated to both my own self-growth and the growth of my clients. Since earning my Master’s degree in 2018, I have been committed to providing compassionate and empathetic support that fosters personal development and resilience. As of 2024 after I obtained my Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) my mission is to create a supportive and empowering space where individuals can overcome challenges, build on their strengths, and achieve meaningful change.

What I do

Developing rapport

As a LCSW I utilize a range of evidence-based interventions tailored to meet each client's unique needs. Some of my approach include:

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT):

This therapeutic approach focuses on teaching skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal effectiveness to help clients manage intense emotions and improve relationships.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT):

A strengths-based approach that emphasizes finding solutions and setting achievable goals, helping clients to focus on their resources and past successes to address current challenges.

Motivational Interviewing (MI):

A collaborative and client-centered method that enhances motivation for change by exploring and resolving ambivalence, supporting clients in making positive behavioral changes.

Trauma-Informed Care:

An approach that recognizes and responds to the effects of trauma, ensuring that all interactions are conducted with an understanding of the impact of trauma on an individual’s life.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):

A structured, goal-oriented therapy that helps individuals identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors, promoting healthier ways of thinking and acting.
